Gold Coast Film Festival - April 2017

Established in 2002 the Gold Coast Film Festival (GCFF) is a 12 day program of screen culture activities held here on the Gold Coast each year. The GCFF features all types of films and the art of filmmaking, from critically acclaimed feature and foreign language films, to genre classics and locally produced indie gems. This year will mark the 15th annual Gold Coast Film Festival.
The GCFF has activities happening all over the Gold Coast, including in and around Broadbeach. The full program hasn't been released yet (look out for it early March), but here are some of the events that will be featured.
Wednesday 19th April: Opening Night at The Arts Centre Gold Coast
Friday 21st April: Y Screen School Screenings plus talks at The Arts Centre Gold Coast
3rd Annual Women in Film Lunch at QT Hotel
QPOW Movies in the Park, Broadbeach
Saturday 22nd April: QPOW Movies in the Park, Broadbeach
Sunday 23rd April: SIPFEST, Surfers Paradise
Monday 24th April: Now That’s What I Call Short Film! The Best of the London Short Film Festival – Australian Premiere – Surfers Paradise Beach
Wednesday 26th April: Future Filmmakers for Year 11 & 12 students at Bond University
Thursday 27th April: Movie Trivia Night at QT Hotel
Sunday 30th April: Closing Night at The Arts Centre Gold Coast.
