Excellent! No Complaints!

We recently stayed at Bel Air for 7 nights and it was fantastic. The staff are great and the 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in was extremely clean and comfortable. The only issue we had, was resolved instantly! We have two toddlers and we were worried about the doors on the balcony (being on level 13) as they were quiet easy to open. As soon as I brought my concern up with the front desk someone was sent up to install extra locks on all balcony doors so that they could not be opened without a key. This is what I call exceptional service. We would not consider staying anywhere else on the Gold Coast. Highly recommended. Review by Kylie (13-Feb-2013)

Great hotel

Reception staff were great, room was clean and tidy and had no negatives about this hotel. We had a great stay and would recommend this hotel to anybody. Review by Adrian (11-Feb-2013)

Customer Service & Kitchen Supplies

The young man at Reception had an exceptional customer service manner. Just had to mention that. Re rm 3072...We felt the kitchen could have been a little better equipped. With the lack of a salad bowl, a few extra plates for serving and cutlery we were having to wash all the time to sit down to eat. No point having the dishwasher. A more sizeable pot for boiling some pasta etc would have been handy. Having worked in accommodation I realize anything not bolted down can go missing but it still has to be provided. Forgot to mention that the dining table is possibly a danger. One end is missing part of its wrought iron frame and the table is very wobbly. If any other weld were to give way it could be a disaster (men seem to lean on tables as they get up!) Sorry for not mentioning this while there. We had an extremely busy week. Otherwise a fantastic location and great place to stay. Hoping we can vist Bel Air again. Thanks. Review by Donna Heywood (31-Jan-2013)

A great holiday

Thank you for an amazing stay. The 2 bedroom apartment was clean, modern and very spacious and comfortable. We were impressed with the whole resort and spent a lot of time in the pool, which was clean and well kept. Lots of fun was had by my whole family. Review by Rachel Simone (19-Jan-2013)

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights in January, we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. The swimming pools are great for all ages and the apartments are modern with up to date furnitures and appliances. However I would not recommend Central Tower facing west because of the heat and no air conditioning in bedroom. Review by Linda Daniels (16-Jan-2013)

Great service

Firstly I would like to say a BIG thanks to Ben who so kindly arranged an early check in for us, as we arrived at the resort at 8 am after a four hour flight from Perth with a six year old and no sleep. Once again thank you Ben!!! The resort is lovely very relaxing, nice apartments, kitchen could have some touch ups but nothing major. Overall a great resort Review by Senada Robles (15-Jan-2013)

Fantastic holiday apartment in perfect location!

My family and I (2A, 1C) stayed here for 3 weeks over Xmas/New Year 2012-2013, and we were not disappointed in any way. Check-in was very prompt and efficient (thanks Aaron), and the 2-bed apartment (2151) in the North Tower was very spacious and had fantastic views of the beach, right around to the casino. 2151 is a dual-key apartment, with the master bedroom capable of being locked separately from the main apartment area (although we didn't need this facility while we were staying). The apartment furnishings were right up-to-date with LCD TVs in the lounge room and each bedroom (the pleather sofa had some scuffs and small tears). The fully equipped kitchen (Fisher & Paykel appliances - stove-top, fan-forced oven, microwave, dishwasher) made cooking meals a dream (note the smoke alarm is super-sensitive, so I had to use the range hood / extractor even when making toast). The laundry, with top-loading washer and tumble dryer, was great for quick washes of beach clothes and made a 3-week stay less of a chore! The beds (Queen + 2 singles) were very comfortable and we all slept well, even in the heat, with split air-conditioning in the lounge and both bedrooms. The pool and BBQ area is fantastic - there is a shallow wading pool, plus a deeper swimming section, in addition to a heated indoor pool (great on days when the weather was not so good). The BBQs are hooded, and heat up quickly, so no mucking around waiting before you cook and eat! The complex is walking distance to everything you could need on holiday - 5 minutes to the beach at Broadbeach (no major roads to cross), 5 minutes to Pacific Fair (one of the largest shopping centres in SE Queensland) and 5 minutes to Jupiters Casino. Kurrawa Surf Club is also only 10 minutes walk away, with fantastic bistro-style meals for very reasonable prices, and fantastic views of the beach from their balcony dining area! All in all, I cannot recommend Bel Air highly enough - the facilities, apartment, staff are all top-notch. We have already booked our next stay! Review by Nicole Phillips (12-Jan-2013)
