7 Things to Do in Main Beach
Main Beach is a seaside suburb of the Gold Coast located just north of Surfers Paradise, if you're interested in exploring the area, then here's a few
of our favourite Main Beach attractions to get you started:
Sea World Gold Coast:
Seaworld Drive, Main Beach
Sea World on the Gold Coast is a family friendly attraction that offers a mix of rides and entertainment with animal viewing and experiences. See dolphins, seals, penguins, polar bears, pat a stingray or even a sea-slug! There are rides to suit all ages and thrill levels including the new Nickelodeon Land for the youngest guests. If you’re looking for something unique to do during your stay you can book a helicopter ride over the Gold Coast departing from just outside of Sea World or perhaps an up close and personal encounter such as swimming with sharks or meeting a dolphin. Sea World is the closest of the Gold Coast theme parks.
Located next door to the Palazzo Versace you'll find Marina Mirage Waterfront Shopping and Dining. The centre is home to high-end and top fashion boutiques including Janine Edwards, Rodd & Gunn, Seed Heritage, Tommy Bahama and Tommy Hilfiger. You'll also be treated to a great selection of dining options such as Glass Dining & Lounge Bar, Fellini Ristorante E Bar, Sunset Bar & Grill, King Crab Co and La Provence Cafe and Eatery.

Open every Saturday from 7am to 12pm, you can pick up gourmet foods, organic and fresh produce, artisan products, gluten-free treats and more.
Gold Coast Fishermen's Co-operative:
Do you love fresh seafood? Then make a visit to the Gold Coast Fishermen's Co-op and get fresh caught seafood, directly from the trawler who caught it! There's a fleet of 12 trawlers including a Spanner Crab Vessel, Tuna Long Liners and Prawn Trawlers - all selling their catch, from that morning. They trade 7 days, from 7am until sold out.
Find them at 168 Seaworld Drive, Main Beach.
There's an old bathing pavilion here, Pavilion 34, that has been turned into a casual beach cafe complete with the beachside favourites of yesteryear ... think chikko rolls, potato scallops and pineapple fritters! The old change pavilions are still here along with photos to show visitors the old Main Beach.
