Early December is a great time to visit the Gold Coast ... the weather is usually warm, it's before the Christmas rush and you can catch the Australian PGA Championship, December 1-4, 2016.
The Australian PGA Championships Gold Coast will be held at the RACV Royal Pines Resort in Benowa, where the top 60 golf players will battle it out for the coveted Kirkwood Cup (the oldest trophy in Australian professional golf).

Approximately 6.00am to 7pm on Thursday and Friday
Approximately 6.30am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday

Gate Opening and Closing Times
Thursday – Friday Gates will open at 5.30 am and will close approximately half an hour after play concludes
Saturday – Sunday Gates will open at 6.00 am and will close approximately half an hour after play concludes
Access to the Course
Pedestrian entrance to the course is located on the east side of Ross Street. Course access is available to patrons with a general admission ticket. See further information on the Australian PGA Championship website
Visit the main public catering area is located in the Championship Village. You'll also find public catering outlets positioned around the course.
Head to the Official Australian PGA Championship merchandise marquee located within the Tournament village. You can also pick up a small selection of tournament merchandise from the RACV Royal Pines Pro-Shop.
There will be a grandstand adjacent to the 18th and behind the 10th tee. Seats are allocated on a first come basis.
Electronic Super Screens
To make sure all spectators are kept up to date, Electronic Super Screens will be located in the Championship Village area and 18th green.

Need some information during the event? The Information Booth is located in the vicinity of the Championship Village area. Here you can get a copy of the daily draw sheet and assistance with general enquiries.
Pick up the official tournament program will at the entrance of the course or at the Information Booth.
An event ATM will be available at the tournament Village, service fees apply.
