How to Book / Quotes and Reservations

Bookings can be made online via this website or by calling our resort on (07) 5564 3100 (Australian callers) or +61 7 5564 3100 (International callers). Photo ID will be required upon arrival, to prevent credit card fraud.

Reservations are subject to availability and actual pricing at the time of booking.

Verbal quotes are valid for 24 hours only.  Any verbal quote given is only an estimate of the price, which will be subject to written advice on confirmation of the reservation. All quotes are given in AUD.  A minimum length of stay will apply and varies with seasonality or availability at the resort.  Generally, peak and holiday seasons attract a longer minimum stay.


A deposit may be required for certain room types or travel periods, these will be advised prior to you confirming any reservation.   Certain specials are non-refundable and full payment is generally required at the time of booking.  Payment of an amount in relation to a reservations will indicate acceptance of these conditions.  Artique Resort bears no responsibility for monies paid to a travel agency until cleared funds are received in the trust of Artique resort.


The balance of accommodation must be paid in full as per the conditions of your booking.  Generally for flexible rates, payment is usually required a minimum of 7 days prior to arrival in low season and 30 days prior to arrival over peak and holiday terms or certain special events (less any deposit that may have been previously paid).   Payment policies will be advised prior to confirming any reservation.

Payment Options

We accept the following credit cards only: Visa and Mastercard attract no fees however we do accept American Express which does attract a fee which is indicated on the payment terms advised to you prior to confirmation of the booking request.   Please note that legal holder of the credit card used for payment must also be the person listed as the name under the reservation and must also be staying at the resort for the duration of the stay under the relevant reservation.

Curtailment of Stay and Amendments

If you choose to vacate an apartment before the confirmed departure dates, no refund will be given.  No charges apply for amendments unless there are additional seasonal charges due to staying in a higher demand period.

Cancellations and Refunds

All Seasons (Flexible rates):   No Cancellation fees apply if cancelled prior to the free cancellation period.   Once the free cancellation date has been reached, there will be no refund after that date.

Please note that low seasons attract a longer free cancellation than peak seasons, school holidays or special events.  The cancellation periods and specific dates they apply to are detailed in the terms and conditions for each rate category chosen prior to selecting your booking and prior to payment request.   All refunds will be made via the original payment method used

Non-Refundable Specials – No refund will be provided.

For guests who result in a “No Show”, no refund will be provided.

Travel Insurance

We highly recommend all our guests to have an appropriate level of travel insurance.

Travel insurance can be arranged by many travel agents.


Rates may be changed at anytime depending on demand, availability, new events or seasons appearing on the calendar.   Any reservation booked/confirmed under the terms and conditions will be honoured at the time of booking.

Check-in and Check-out

Standard check-in is 2pm and standard check out is 10am.

For guaranteed check in prior to 2pm or departure after 10am, a unit must be reserved from the previous night (for check-in) or for guaranteed late check-out the apartment must be reserved for an additional night and therefore includes an additional nightly charge for either case.  Otherwise check-in prior to 2pm on day of arrival or check-out after 10am on day of departure is on a request basis only and subject to availability.  For non-guaranteed late check-out on departure, requests will only be considered on the morning of departure.

For arrival outside our resort standard reception closing time of 5pm, please advise arrival details at time of booking.

Credit Card Authorisation

A credit card pre-authorization of $200 for all apartments except the Penthouse ($500) will be asked for at the time of checkin and will be used to cover incidental items such as (but not limited to):

  • Telephone or Internet Charges
  • Any breakages or damage incurred during your stay
  • Any excessive cleaning charges, above the normal level of cleaning, due to the apartment being left in an unacceptable state

We will pre-authorize all credit cards upon arrival. Please note this process validates the presented card and protects both the card holder and merchant from fraud. We may pre-authorize a card for any charges we determine that the guest may be likely to have during their stay. The pre-authorized amount is set aside by the credit card company for a period of up to 10 days. This pre-authorization will affect your available funds.

For more information on this we suggest the cardholder contact their card issuer.

Once a pre-authorization has been made, we cannot release, remove or lower the authorized amount. This is a restriction placed on us by the bank and cannot be negotiated.

Security Deposits and Photo I.D. required on check-in

All guests are required to provide a credit card pre-authorisation on arrival to cover any miscellaneous charges.  Where a credit card is not available a $500.00 cash deposit will be required.  A current drivers license or passport will be required at checkin. This ID may be copied or stored as a record that we have verified who you are as a combat to increasing credit card crime.

Any personal information contained on the collected ID will be securely stored and carefully disposed of at the end of its usefulness.

Booking Arrangements

The person affecting a booking shall be deemed to have accepted the booking conditions on behalf of all persons named in the booking.

All clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or an individual over the age of 18, the property has the right to refuse any booking, when the legal guardian cannot provide current photo I.D. when requested at check-in.

School Leavers

We reserve the right to reject bookings from School Leavers and/or University Leavers from mid/late November – Early December as we do not have policies, procedures or resources to meet the unique needs of those attending the annual “Schoolies” event. If on check in persons travelling are found to be participating in “Schoolies” they will NOT be checked in and no refunds will be given.

Request Policy

Although every effort will be made to satisfy any specific requests, we cannot guarantee them. Should you consider the apartment you have booked not suitable, upgrades or relocations can be requested – subject to availability and at an additional cost. Guests wishing to change rooms after check-in will incur a cleaning fee.

Child Policy

0-2 yrs incl:         FOC (free of charge) using existing bedding (rollaway / sofa is not existing bedding) Cot hire available at an additional charge. Must pre-advise resort prior to arrival.

3-14 yrs incl:       Adult rate applies.



Privacy of your information:

We confirm that any details collected from a guest will only be used for the purposes of communication for their reservation and, in future for informing the guest of any special offer.   Every guest, has the opportunity to unsubscribe from any future emails which is done automatically when requested and within a secure database as required by law.   We do not impart any details to third parties unless requested by law enforcement agencies or court order.
